MSoft’s Xbox 360 division loses $31million
Microsoft tells us bad news. And then tells us good news. I’m so confused…somebody please make it stop!
The division which is responsible for the Xbox 360, posted a total revenue of $1.57 billion dollars. Losing $31 million for the quarter. Just for comparison, this time last year the same division posted a $106 million profit.
But there is some good news to be had. Xbox 360 sales were actually up by 30 percent, with about 1.7 million consoles sold for the quarter. Very good numbers considering the economic climate.
Sales of Xbox 360 games and accessories were also up this quarter. The average owner has 8.3 Xbox 360 games, 3.9 accessories and 2.3 testicles.
