Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters intro movie!
I’m pretty hesitant to gather any excitement whatsoever for the upcoming Ghostbusters game for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Not because it doesn’t look good…because it does. But because it’s a game based on a movie. The odds are stacked against this game before I even get my grubby fingers on it. But, like any good man I will withhold all prejudice until I actually play it. Just like Martin Luther King Jr. would want me to do.
I’ve been reading about this game for a while and it really does have some things working in it’s favor. It’s written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis who also co-wrote the original movie. And they also got their hands dirty in the development process. Also, the production of this game wasn’t rushed to meet the release date of the corresponding movie, which is one of the reasons 90% of licensed movie games blow. So there are some rays of hope.
