Over the weekend there were a lot of reported rumors that Battlefield Heroes may be releasing on the Xbox 360 and Playstation as well as the PC. Today those rumors got punched in the taint and kicked in the face by the game’s executive producer Ben Cousins.
“Contrary to rumours spreading around the Internet in the weekend we have no plans to release Battlefield Heroes on either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360,” Cousins said to Videogamer.
I never really thought that the rumor of the game coming to consoles had any legs anyway. Battlefield Heroes is a free to play PC game, not the easiest model to make available on a console. And we all know Microsoft won’t touch anything it can’t make a profit off.
Battlefield Heroes is still in it’s beta phase and still has no release date set.
