EA’s real-time strategy series will get it’s next sequel next month with 4. And to get you back in the swing of things the publisher is releasing three classic games as freeware. Freeware means it’s free, you don’t have to pay anything for it. Free is good.

For $0.00 you can get your strategic paws on , (including the Firestorm expansion), and . Now you may run into issues running the older games on your newer but I’m including some links below to give you a hand.

Fans of the RTS genre will appreciate what these old titles have to offer, and it’ll get you in the mood for the release of 4 on March 16. It’s the last chapter in the saga so soak it up kids.

Fans of who are too cheap to buy a Gold subscription to are in luck.

Starting at noon on Friday, January 15 you will be able to play online multiplayer on for free. That’s right you cheap bastards, for the low, low retail price of $0.00 you will be able to enjoy the fun of playing your favorite zombie game with actual other humans online!

The free weekend will end on Monday, January 18 at noon so enjoy it while you can.

And do yourself a favor, pay the lousy $60.00 for a subscription you loser. Who plays L4D2 just to kill the A.I. anyway!?
