Guitar Hero 5 drum kit is official

Just one day after Logitech revealed it’s drum kit peripheral at the bargain price of $229 (OUCH!) Red Octane stepped forward revealing the new design of their Guitar Hero 5 kit. It’s an improvement over the Guitar Hero World Tour kit pictured below on the left. The new version is slimmed down, the control panel is now toward the bottom and the cymbals got a much needed make over as well.

The official pricing and specs have not been released yet. But with the September release of the game right around the corner it should be much longer before we know how many clams we’ll have to shell out.

Click the thumbs below to check out the comparison between the two kits.
