E3 2009 madness

Well the avalanche of E3 news has begun. Big stories are rolling in already with announcements from Microsoft, Valve, Konami and others. I’m going to report most of these stories to you later. Instead of just spitting out small, half-assed stories just to get them out on the web like I’ve noticed some other sites are doing. I want to do a little research and digest all of the news before I post them here for you guys to read.

Check back later or subscribe to the feed to stay in the loop!

I’m making some changes…

Hello fellow gamers. I just thought I’d take this time to thank everyone who has stopped by my little place on the net to check the site out. Today is shutupandgame.com’s one month birthday. Buy us presents!

Now that I have a little experience with blogging and maintaining the site, I will be taking Shut Up And Game! in a little bit of a new direction. I’ll still post major gaming news stories. But I’ll also be adding more original content. Starting next week I will be working on reviews, editorials and other commentaries to make the site more immersive. Instead of many quick news stories a day I think I’ll be taking more time to bring you fewer more in-depth stories.

I’m still working on this site myself which is sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse. I am only one person and with a full time job as well I can only do so much. I am looking for anyone who would like to help me grow the site into the gaming hub I think it should be. If you are just starting out in the blogosphere or are a seasoned veteran and would like to contribute to the site, please contact me with your information at chip {at} shutupandgame.com

I could also use some help in the editorial department as well. If you’d like to volunteer your time to help proof read and make improvements to articles it would be a huge help to me. I’m pretty much just looking for some help from people who are as passionate about gaming and the gaming community as I am. You know who you are, so don’t be shy.

Thanks again to all of you who have made shutupandgame.com’s first month a success. I look forward to making the improvements to take this site to the next level.
